Commemorative history of Udo's infantry regiment, the 2nd Grand-Duchy of Hessen, No. 116 (Kaiser Wilhelm), published in 1924. Udo is not listed in the honor roll of fallen officers, but Lt. Malzan, who informed his brother of Udo's death, is listed among the wounded. I found it at a used bookstore in New Hampshire; it was the only regimental history on the shelf. In fact it's the only one I've ever seen. Perhaps Udo was chasing me.
